When you type "http:// location in the Address box in Internet Explorer, you may receive the following error message:
Access to the resource 'HTTP://Location' has been disallowed.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if your system has the NoRun policy restriction enabled and you are using Internet Explorer version 5.01 (build 5.00.2919.6307).

WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, type the Web address without "http://" or ask your system administrator to remove the NoRun policy restriction if permitted.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Internet Explorer version 5.01 Service Pack 2.
