Last Line on Page Printed on Next Page in Internet Explorer 5 for Windows 2000 (250816)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 for Windows 2000
This article was previously published under Q250816 SYMPTOMS
When you print more than a single continuous page from the version of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 (build 2920) that is included with Windows 2000, the last line of page one appears on the second page of the printout. This does not occur in Internet Explorer 5 or 5.01 in Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because of the way the Internet Explorer 5 pagination logic works.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, decrease the bottom margin size for the page:
- On the File menu, click Page Setup.
- Decrease the margin size in the Bottom box. For example, type .5 inches, click OK, and then print again.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
