This article was previously published under Q250802 SYMPTOMS
When you are exporting browser settings from the Group Policy Snap-in, an Open dialog box appears instead of a Save as dialog box. In this dialog box, you can only select an existing file, and that file will be overwritten with the new settings.
WORKAROUND
Create a file with an .ins file name extension in the location where you want to export the settings.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows 2000.
