Generic Printer Driver Does Not Print Properly on Large Paper Sizes (250487)

SYMPTOMS

If you define a printer by using the generic printer driver, the printed output may be missing lines when you print to large paper sizes. This occurs with form sizes larger than 17.4 inches by 12 inches. This occurs with either predefined forms (such as A3) or custom forms.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.
