Error Messages Appear Citing 'Old Disk Utility' When You Try to Start CrypKey Instant Version 4.3 (250119)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to start CrypKey Instant version 4.3 on a computer running Windows Millennium Edition (Me), the following error messages may appear:
CrypKey Error: This program encountered a problem. There was an unknown problem retrieving the licensing information.
Old Disk Utility Write Error
You are using a disk utility designed for an older version of MS-DOS or Windows.
Your files may be damaged if the utility writes to the disk. To run it, but prevent it from writing to your disk, click Yes.
To stop the utility, click No.

In addition, programs that were previously protected with CrypKey do not start.

CAUSE

This version of CrypKey was not designed specifically for Windows Me.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Kenonic Controls, Inc., and inquire about an updated version of CrypKey for Windows Me.
