SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft Exchange 2000 Outlook Web Access (OWA) with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x or Netscape Navigator 4.x to create a public folder, the Create Folder dialog box displays one of the following messages: A new subfolder will be created under the current folder: IPM_SUBTREE -or- A new subfolder will be created under the current folder: It should display the following message: A new subfolder will be created under the current folder: Public Folders

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2.
