XWEB: Create Public Folder Dialog Box Uses Wrong Parent Folder Name (249448)

This article was previously published under Q249448 SYMPTOMS When you use Microsoft Exchange 2000 Outlook Web Access
(OWA) with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x or Netscape Navigator 4.x to create
a public folder, the Create Folder dialog box displays one of
the following messages: A new subfolder will be created
under the current folder: IPM_SUBTREE -or- A
new subfolder will be created under the current folder: It should
display the following message: A new subfolder will be
created under the current folder: Public Folders STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that
this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
This problem was
first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 2.
