XWEB: OWA Message Subject Gets Cut Off (249414)

SYMPTOMS

When you open your Inbox with Microsoft Exchange 2000 Outlook Web Access (OWA), the message subject is cut off if it exceeds 40 characters. In earlier versions of OWA, messages with long subjects end with an ellipsis (...) instead of being cut off.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
