When you save a document created in Macintosh Word to the Rich Text Format (*.rtf) or Word 6.0/95 (*.doc) format from within Microsoft Word 2000, your tables may become corrupted when the new document is opened back up in Word 2000.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a).
