PhD2000: Program Does Not Start Automatically When You Double-Click .Mix File (248574)

When you double-click a .mix file, Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000 may not start automatically.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if Intel Mixman is installed on the computer.
Intel Mixman associates the .mix file name extension with Mixman audio files.
RESOLUTION
To associate the .mix file name extension with PhotoDraw 2000, use either of the following methods.
Reinstall PhotoDraw
When you reinstall PhotoDraw 2000, Setup automatically associates the .mix file name extension with PhotoDraw 2000.
Modify the File Name Extension Properties
You can manually associate the .mix file name extension with PhotoDraw 2000.
For information about how to associate a file name extension with a program, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type file extensions (Microsoft Windows 98) or file icons (Microsoft Windows 95), click the associating with programs Help topic, and then click Display.
