Computer Management Snap-in May Display Incorrect Type for Disk Defragmenter (248415)

When you are running the Computer Management snap-in in Microsoft Management Console (MMC), you may see incorrect or illegible information in the Type column in the right pane for Disk Defragmenter if you click Storage in the left ( Tree) pane.
Some of the incorrect or illegible values include:

CAUSE
This behavior is caused by pointer corruption.
RESOLUTION
This problem is harmless and does not affect the functionality of the Computer Management snap-in. To work around the behavior, quit and then restart the Computer Management snap-in. The Type value for Disk Defragmenter is reset to its correct value (Extension Snapin).
