Clicking the Documents Command on the Start Menu Does Not Open Files Located in a Subdirectory of the My Documents Folder (247856)

When you open a WordPad document located in the My Documents folder, and then save this document in a subdirectory of My Documents by clicking Save as on the File menu, the path to the newly saved document is lost when you try to open this document by clicking Start, and then Documents.
CAUSE
Windows 98 tries to find the file in the root of My Documents instead of in the subdirectory.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, upgrade to Microsoft Windows 2000.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows 98.
