This article was previously published under Q247803 SYMPTOMS When you try to print driving directions with strip maps in any one of the programs that are listed in the "Applies to" section, only the first page of output may print correctly.CAUSE You may not have enough memory available to print the map
and driving directions. This behavior may occur if any one of the
following conditions are true:
- Your printer driver is damaged or is out of date.
- You are running Microsoft Expedia Streets and Trips 2000 on a
Microsoft Windows 95-based computer.
- You are printing in landscape orientation.
- You do not have enough memory available to print the map
and driving directions.
Note For best results, your printer should have at least 1 megabyte
(MB) of memory.
RESOLUTION If your printer is configured to print in Landscape orientation, change this setting to Portrait orientation. If you are printing your driving
directions on paper that is more than 11 inches wide, switch to standard
letter-sized paper (8 1/2 x 11 inches), and then print the map in Portrait orientation. If the problem continues to occur, try one
of the following resolutions. Set Print Quality to a Lower Setting- On the File menu, click Print.
- Under Options, select one of the options in the Map quality box:
- Draft - Prints a map at the highest speed with less detail than the
other selections.
- Normal (default) - Prints a map with good detail at medium speed.
- Presentation - Prints a map with the highest level of detail at a slower speed
than the other selections.
- Click OK.
