This article was previously published under Q247352 SYMPTOMS
When you create a custom form for the HP DesignJet 755cm/PS printer, the new form is not available on either the Form To Tray Assignment box in Device Settings or on in Printing Preferences on the General tab of the printer Properties.
on the Forms tab of Print Server Properties
CAUSE
This issue can occur if the forms are supported using the printer's PostScript custom paper size feature.
NOTE: For these forms, you can still choose them as the job's paper size, but they are not available in the Form To Tray Assignment table.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, open Printing Preferences, click the Paper/Quality tab, and then click the input tray in Paper Source.
NOTE: This printer can support forms up to a maximum width of 36.69 inches and a maximum height of 129 inches.
MORE INFORMATION
The Form To Tray Assignment table allows you to specify which form should use which input tray. Once you have assigned a form to a specific tray, the printer will always use that tray to print the defined paper size (form).
