Windows 2000 Stops Responding with Early Version of Xircom CE2 Network Adapter (246890)

When you use a Xircom CE2 network adapter on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 may stop responding (hang) when the network adapter is under heavy usage.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when you use one of the earlier versions of the Xircom CE2 network adapter.
RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, upgrade to a later version of the Xircom CE2 network adapter or to its successor, the Xircom CE3. Visit the following Xircom, Inc. Web site for more information about current Xircom products:
