Xircom CE2 Network Adapter Bugchecks During Detection (246877)

SYMPTOMS

When you install a Xircom CE2 network adapter on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional or upgrade a Windows-based computer with this network adapter installed to Windows 2000 Professional, the drivers bugcheck during detection and are not installed.

CAUSE

This issue can occur with early versions of the Xircom CE2 network adapter.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Xircom technical support.

STATUS

This is by design.
