Microsoft Greetings 2000

  1. Quit all running programs.
  2. Insert the Greetings 2000 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent Setup from starting automatically.
  3. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
  4. Right-click the GR2 (CD-ROM drive) icon, and then click Open.
  5. Double-click Setup.exe.
If you are unable to install Greetings 2000 using these steps, you may need to install each component of Greetings 2000 separately:

Install Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 as a Separate Component

  1. Quit all running programs.
  2. Insert the Greetings 2000 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent Setup from starting automatically.
  3. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
  4. Right-click the GR2 (CD-ROM drive) icon, and then click Open.
  5. Double-click the MHP folder.
  6. Double-click the Redist folder.
  7. Double-click the IE5 folder.
  8. Double-click Ie5setup.exe.

Install Greetings 2000 as a Separate Component

  1. Quit all running programs.
  2. Insert the Greetings 2000 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent Setup from starting automatically.
  3. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
  4. Right-click the GR2 (CD-ROM drive) icon, and then click Open.
  5. Double-click the MHP folder.
  6. Double-click Grus.msi.

Microsoft Home Publishing 2000

  1. Quit all running programs.
  2. Insert the Setup and Art Disc 1 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Press and hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent Setup from starting automatically.
  3. Double-click the My Computer icon on the desktop.
  4. Right-click the HP2STP (CD-ROM drive) icon, and then click Open.
  5. Double-click Setup.exe.
If you are unable to install Home Publishing 2000 using these steps, you may need to install each component of Home Publishing 2000 separately:

  4. Right-click the HP2SE (CD-ROM drive) icon, and then click Open.
  5. Double-click Setup.exe.
