To set or change your home directory, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the Start button, and then point to Programs.
  2. Point to Administrative Tools (Common), and then click User Manager.
  3. Access the Microsoft Windows NT User Properties Profile, and specify the home directory path in the Local Path section.

In INTERIX, $HOME is a concatenation of the environment variables %HOMEDRIVE% and %HOMEPATH%.
