Towards the end of deploying a solution from a Microsoft Windows NT Workstation development computer to a Microsoft Windows 2000 computer, you may receive the following error message if you chose to let the New Team Solutions Wizard create the Microsoft Access project (.adp):
Enter network password
Please enter your authentication information
User name:
Password:
CAUSE
This dialog box appears when the following two conditions are true: - You add a Web folder (manually or through the New Team Solutions Wizard, for example) for a site that is publishable (FrontPage Server Extensions are present and authoring is enabled, for example).
-and- - You do not have permissions to view or modify files on the server.
RESOLUTION
When you see the "Enter network password" dialog box, do one of the following:
- Enter the user name and password of someone who is authorized to view or modify files on the server.
-or- - Click Cancel.
If you click Cancel, a dialog box appears stating that the solution has been successfully deployed. However, only the solution database, Web site, and Access project are created. The Web folder is not created.
