This article was previously published under Q244841 SYMPTOMS
After you set a table row to an exact height, when you verify the height of the table row, the setting may not retain the value you set earlier.
For example, if you set the height of a table row to be exactly 0.31", when you check the setting, the setting may appear as only 0.3" or may have an earlier setting retained.
To set the height of a table row, follow these steps:
- Place the insertion point in a table cell of the row you want to set.
- On the Table menu, click Table Properties.
- On the Row tab, change the settings to the values you want.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do one of the following:
- Reset the value to the setting you want until Word retains the setting.
-or- - Set the Specify height box before you change the setting of the Row height is box to Exactly.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
