Pictures Are Not Displayed in Windows Help (244825)

SYMPTOMS

When you open Windows 2000 Help, image placeholders are displayed instead of pictures.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if Microsoft Internet Explorer is configured to not show pictures.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, enable the Show Pictures feature in Internet Explorer.

In Internet Explorer 5.01, follow these steps to enable this feature:
  1. Click Tools, and then choose Internet Options.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Click to select the Show pictures check box.
  4. Click OK.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
