SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to change the way Windows Explorer displays file names, from all uppercase to all lowercase, on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, you cannot do so.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Windows 2000 Professional does not support this functionality.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional.
