SYMPTOMS

When you click the Tools menu, the Remote Desktop Sharing command may be unavailable.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if a policy restricting Remote Desktop Sharing is enabled, or the CA Unicenter Remotely Possible 32 or other desktop sharing software is installed on your computer.

Note If you establish a connection to the remote computer by using Remote Desktop Connection, also known as Terminal Services Client, and then you start NetMeeting, sharing will be disabled.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact your system administrator to request the restriction be removed, or contact the maufacturer of your desktop sharing software to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.
