WD2000: Invalid Page Fault Printing Some Visual Basic Help Topics (244351)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to print certain Help topics from the Visual Basic Editor, the following error message appears:

MSOHELP caused an invalid page fault in module HHCTRL.OCX at 0167:5d304b2f.

This error occurs when attempting to print the following Help topics:

Range Object
Selection Object
Document Object

This error appears when you print the Help topic in either of the following ways:

When you click the Print button on the toolbar.

By following these steps:
1. In the Help topic window, select the portion of the topic you want to print.
2. Right-click the selection and then click Print on the shortcut menu that appears.
3. In the Print Range section, click All and then click OK.

To work around this problem and print the Help topic, follow these steps:

In the Help topic window, select the portion of the topic you want to print.
Right-click the selection and then click Print on the shortcut menu that appears.
In the Print Range section, click Selection and then click OK.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
