WD98: Color StyleWriter 4000 Series Driver and Macintosh OS 9.0 (244117)

SYMPTOMS

The Page Setup dialog box and the Print commands do not respond for the Apple Color StyleWriter 4000 after you upgrade to Macintosh OS 9.0 or a later version.

CAUSE

The Macintosh OS 9 installer deletes the Color StyleWriter 4000 series driver when you install Macintosh OS 9.0. This is normal. The old software will not work and should not be installed.

Apple Color StyleWriter 4000 Series printers require an updated printer driver for use with Macintosh OS 9.0.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, download an updated printer driver.
