SUMMARY

Remote Access Services (RAS) multilink connections and Bandwidth Allocation Protocol (BAP) are enabled by default in Windows 2000 Routing and Remote Access Services (RRAS). You can view or modify general server settings and specific policy profile settings from the RAS server. Specific policy profile settings are configured to use server settings by default.

To view or edit server settings:
  1. Start RRAS.
  2. In the console tree, double-click Routing and Remote Access.
  3. Right-click the server for which you want to enable multilink connections and BAP/Bandwidth Allocation Control Protocol (BACP), and then click Properties.
  4. Click PPP to view or edit the server settings.
To view or edit specific remote access policies:
  1. Start RRAS.
  2. In the console tree, double-click Routing and Remote Access.
  3. Double-click Remote Access Policies, and then click a policy in the right pane.
  4. Right-click the policy, and then click Properties.
  5. Click Edit Profile, and then click Multilink.
