SUMMARY

When you use the Ldp.exe utility to delete the entry in Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory that corresponds to the following value, it may delete all users with Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server mailboxes from Active Directory.

cn=Microsoft Exchange,cn=Services,cn=Configuration,dc=[your_domain_name],dc=com

MORE INFORMATION

When you delete the entry for the following value by using the Ldp.exe utility, ensure that the Extended and the Recursive check boxes in the Delete function dialog box are not selected (checked):

cn=Microsoft Exchange,cn=Services,cn=Configuration,dc=[your_domain_name],dc=com

NOTE: By default, these check boxes are not selected.
