"Unable to Send Mail Now" Error Message in the SBS Console (244026)

SYMPTOMS

When you click Send and Receive Now on the Manage Electronic Mail link on the Tasks tab in BackOffice Small Business Server (SBS), you may receive the following error message:
Unable to send mail now
When you click OK, the mail is sent and received.

CAUSE

This error message can occur if you have not run the Internet Connection Wizard (ICW) on the SBS server.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, run the ICW from the SBS console To Do list.
