XL97: Attached Toolbar Is Lost When You Send Workbook as Attachment (243931)

When an e-mail recipient opens a workbook that you have sent to them as an attachment, workbook toolbars are missing.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when you send a workbook as an attachment by using the Send To command from within Excel.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use either of the following methods:
- Save the workbook and send the file from your e-mail program as an attachment.
-or- - Use an Auto_Open macro to create the custom toolbar in the workbook.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1/SR-1a.
