BUG: Other Users Can See Your Registered SQL Servers in SQL Enterprise Manager (243754)

SYMPTOMS
After you clear the Store user independent check box in SQL Server Enterprise Manager (SEM) in the Tools|Options dialog box and then register a new SQL Server, when other users log on to this computer they will be able to see the previously registered SQL Server.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
