SYMPTOMS

When you open in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 a document that is shared on a network file server, "Unknown Zone" may be displayed on the status bar instead of "Local Intranet."

MORE INFORMATION

This behavior does not occur with files on the local computer, only with Microsoft Office files that are shared on the network.
