SYMPTOMS

When you use Outlook 2000 Internet Mail Only (IMO) and Symantec Fax Starter Edition, Outlook ignores the following settings in the Telephony tool in Control Panel:

To disable call waiting, dial

For long distance calls, use this calling card

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Outlook 2000.

MORE INFORMATION

This problem does not occur when you use Outlook 2000 in Corporate Workgroup mode with MSFax.
