Mac Explorer IntelliMouse: USB Mouse Does Not Wake Computer (243362)

You may not be able to wake an Apple Macintosh computer when you move a
mouse connected to the Universal Serial Bus (USB) port in the computer.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if Macintosh operating system version 8.5.x or
earlier is installed on the computer.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, install Macintosh operating system version 8.6.
You can work around this issue by pressing any key on the keyboard to
wake the computer.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
