XFOR: Configuring Multiple Moderators in Internet Information Server or MCIS NNTP (243193)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Commercial Internet System 2.0
- Microsoft Commercial Internet System 2.5
This article was previously published under Q243193 SUMMARY
It is not possible to configure the Internet Information Server or Microsoft Commercial Internet Server NNTP service to use multiple moderators for newsgroups if they are configured to use a directory to store moderated messages instead of using an SMTP server to send moderated messages to the moderators.
MORE INFORMATION
By default, only one directory path and one moderator can be specified when using this method. To have multiple moderators, the SMTP server method must be used, and moderated messages must be forwarded to the moderators' e-mail addresses.
