SUMMARY

This article describes how to use the euro currency symbol in Windows 2000.

MORE INFORMATION

Although Windows 2000 supports the euro currency symbol, this symbol does not map to a key on the standard U.S. keyboard. To use this symbol in Windows 2000, you must use a special key combination.

To use the euro currency symbol, make sure the NUM LOCK key is on. Then, press and hold down the ALT key while you type 0128 on the numeric keypad. (In other words, type ALT+0128.) This key combination produces the euro currency symbol in fonts that support the euro symbol.
