XFOR: TNEF Setting on Contact Overrides TNEF Setting for the Remote Domain (241782)

If you send mail to a contact in Microsoft Windows 2000 Active Directory, the Use MAPI rich text format setting (located on the Exchange Advanced tab of the contact's properties) overrides any per-domain Internet Mail Format settings you may have configured.
WORKAROUND
The only workaround is to change the Use MAPI rich text format setting on the contact.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATION
This behavior only applies to messages sent to contacts in Active Directory. It does not affect mail sent to users in Active Directory, one-off recipients, or recipients in a user's Personal Address Book.
