Do not administer Exchange 2000 configuration objects located under the Services node by using the Active Directory Sites and Services snap-in. It is possible use this snap-in to incorrectly rename, move, and delete Exchange 2000 configuration objects. Instead, use the Exchange System Manager snap-in.
NOTE: In addition, do not use the Exchange System Manager to manage Windows 2000 sites.
