You receive the "PivotTable is not valid" error message in Excel 98 if you use an Excel 2000 PivotTable (241665)

When you activate a PivotTable and you click one of the buttons on the PivotTable toolbar, either nothing happens or you receive the following error message:
PivotTable is not valid.
Also, if you try to save your workbook, you may receive the following error message:
This file was created using a later version of Microsoft Excel. If you save this file using Microsoft Excel 98, information created with features in the later version may be lost.
- To retain the information in the original file, click No, and use the Save As command (File menu) to save this file with a different name.
- To continue with the Save, click Yes.

CAUSE
These error messages may occur if both of the following conditions are true:
- The PivotTable was created in Excel 2000.
-and- - The PivotTable was created using an Online Analytical
Processing (OLAP) database.
You are not able to perform any PivotTable functions on the PivotTables you created in Excel 2000 using an OLAP database as the source.
