XFOR: Password with Space Causes Chat Server to Assign Wrong Permissions (241603)

In Microsoft Windows 2000, you can create a password that contains a space. Such passwords cannot be passed on to the Exchange 2000 Chat Server for proper chat authentication. They may cause inappropriate permission levels to be set, such as the chat server systems operator being logged on as a normal user.
RESOLUTION
Remove the space from the password.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
