The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Picture It! 2000
This article was previously published under Q241557 SYMPTOMS
On the initial screen of a Web Album project, you may receive the
following error message if you click Close the Current
Picture, and then attempt to save the file when you are prompted
to do so:
Picture It! Error
There might not be enough memory to complete this operation, or another
problem might exist. Please save your work, restart Picture It!, and try
again.
When you click OK, Picture It! returns to the Web Album project.
Because you cannot edit a Web Album project in Picture It! after you
create it, your only choices are to proceed and finish the Web Album
project without closing the picture, or to cancel the Web Album project
and start again.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you opened the file that you are attempting
to save from a source with read-only access, such as a CD-ROM or a network
share.
This behavior occurs only if you do not save the file before you start
the Web Album project.
WORKAROUND
To prevent this issue from occurring, save the file before you start
the Web Album project. In addition, close files that you do not plan to
include in your Web Album project before you start the project.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
