SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to send a picture or a project through e-mail from Microsoft Picture It!, you may be prompted to configure an e-mail client. After you configure an e-mail client and return to Picture It!, you may receive the same message again.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because the Send command only checks to make sure that an e-mail client is configured the first time that you select it during a Picture It! session.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue:

  1. Save the picture or project that you are working on.
  2. Quit Picture It!.
  3. Restart Picture It!.
  4. Open the picture or project that you want to send.
  5. Send the picture or project through e-mail.
You only need to perform this procedure once. Picture It! recognizes your e-mail client the next time that you send a picture or a project.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
