FIX: Problems in Managing OLAP Cube Roles on French Versions (241351)

SYMPTOMS

When the user attempts to specify 'read' permissions for one or more roles in a cube, using OLAP Manager, the permissions are not saved and show up as 'read/write'. This problem occurs with the French version of OLAP Services installed on Windows NT 4.0 French computers.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in SQL Server OLAP Services 7.0 Service Pack 1. For more information, contact your primary support provider.
