Links LS 2000: Crowd Disappears When You Change the Crowd Size (241078)

SYMPTOMS

If you change the crowd size while you are playing a Virtual Tournament in Microsoft Links LS 2000, the crowd may disappear completely when you resume play.

If you change the crowd size after the crowd has disappeared, the crowd does not reappear for the remainder of the tournament.

RESOLUTION

To prevent this issue from occurring, configure the crowd size before you begin to play a Virtual Tournament.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

To configure the crowd size before you begin to play a Virtual Tournament:
  1. Click Options at the bottom of the Links LS 2000 startup screen.
  2. Click Tourney Settings.
  3. Under Tournament Crowds and Objects, click one of the following crowd settings:

    • No Crowds
    • Small Crowds
    • Medium Crowds
    • Large Crowds
  4. Click OK, and then click Close.
