The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Links LS 2000
- Microsoft Links LS Classic
- Microsoft Links 2001
This article was previously published under Q241067 SYMPTOMS
When you play Microsoft Links with other players, your caddy
may offer your player an inappropriate club for a given shot.
For example, your caddy may offer your player a long distance wood
club instead of a short distance iron when you are positioned within
a chip shot of the green.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:
- One or more players do not use the default selection of 13
clubs.
- The players use different sets of clubs.
- One player uses all three wedge clubs: the sand wedge, the pitching
wedge, and the loft wedge.
- You remove the player who uses all three wedge clubs from the
game.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
