This article was previously published under Q241047 SYMPTOMS When you click an Internet shortcut on the Links toolbar,
the Web page may open in a different Internet Explorer session, even if you
have selected the Reuse Windows for Launching Shortcuts setting on the Advanced tab in the
Internet Options dialog box. When this occurs, the shortcut
may open in the first browser window that you opened. CAUSE This issue can occur if the Internet shortcut is contained
in a folder on the Links toolbar and you have multiple Internet Explorer
sessions open.RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, install the latest service pack
for Internet Explorer.
