Remove the Underline from a Hyperlink

To remove the underline from a hyperlink, you must use the text-decoration cascading style sheet (CSS) attribute to the hyperlink. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. In FrontPage, click the HTML tab at the bottom of the FrontPage window.
  2. Locate the code that looks similar to the following:
    <a href="http://www.hyperlink.com">underlinedhyperlink</a>

  3. Insert the style tag with the text decoration=none attribute after the anchor tag, so that your code looks similar to the following:
    <a style="text-decoration: none" href="http://www.hyperlink.com">nonunderlinedhyperlink</a>

  4. On the File menu, click Save.
These steps only remove the underline from a single hyperlink. You can remove the underline from all hyperlinks in a page by adding a <STYLE> section to the page.
