PUB 2000: Can Print Only One Copy of Publication on Hewlett Packard LaserJet 3100Se (240851)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to print multiple copies of your Microsoft Publisher 2000 publication on a Hewlett Packard LaserJet 3100Se, the printer may print only one copy.

This behavior can occur even if you have correctly configured the publication to print more than one copy in the Print dialog box.

CAUSE

This issue occurs if you have installed the Hewlett Packard Service Release 3 patch for the LaserJet 3100Se.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, remove the Hewlett Packard Service Release 3 patch for the LaserJet 3100Se, and then reinstall the original printer driver (version 2.0.172) for the LaserJet 3100Se.
