This article was previously published under Q240567 SYMPTOMS When you change the Windows Regional Settings while
Microsoft Money is running on your computer, you may receive the following
error messages: - Money needs to close in order to switch to the new Regional
Setting. Your work will be saved. When you restart Money, the Regional Setting
you specified will be in effect.
- This program is not responding. It may be busy, waiting for
a response from you, or it may have stopped running.
Click Cancel to
ignore and return to Windows.
To close this program immediately,
click End Task. You will lose any unsaved information in this program. To give
the program 20 seconds to finish what it is doing, click Wait, and then try to
close the program again.
RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, close the error messages, and then
restart the computer. STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
This behavior does not occur on Microsoft
Windows 2000-based computers.
