To add a customer note to an invoice, use the appropriate method for your version of Money.

Money 2001 or Later

  1. On the Money navigation bar, click Business.
  2. Click New Invoice.
  3. Type the customer name in the Customer box.
  4. Add at least one item to the invoice.
  5. In the left pane, click Change billing or shipping details.
  6. Type the customer note in the Customer Note box.
  7. Click Done to return to the invoice.
When you print the invoice, the information you typed in the Customer Note box appears on the invoice.

Money 2000

  1. On the Money navigation bar, click Business.
  2. Click Create an invoice.
  3. Enter the customer name in the Customer box.
  4. Add at least one item to the invoice.
  5. In the left pane, click Change billing or shipping details.
  6. Type the customer note in the Customer Note box.
  7. Click Done to return to the invoice.
When you print the invoice, the information you typed in the Customer Note box appears on the invoice.
