Err Msg: "Can't Find MAPI.DLL" Installing ProComm for Windows (240380)

SYMPTOMS

When you install ProComm for Windows, you may receive the following error message:
Can't find MAPI.DLL.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if the Mapi.dll file is missing or damaged.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, click OK. The Mapi.dll file is a 16-bit file that you do not need to run Windows NT or ProComm for Windows. Continue with the installation.
