NBA Inside Drive 2000: Mouse Pointer Hangs or Is Duplicated (240111)

SYMPTOMS

When you play Microsoft NBA Inside Drive 2000, your mouse pointer may stop responding (hang), or duplicate pointers may be displayed on the screen.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • Online Help is displayed on the screen.
  • You press ALT+TAB to switch to another program, and then switch back to NBA Inside Drive 2000.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, close online Help, press ALT+TAB to minimize the game and switch to another program, and then press ALT+TAB again to restore NBA Inside Drive 2000.

NOTE: To prevent this issue from occurring, close online Help before you press ALT+TAB to switch to another program.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
